Powder Coating

Why choose the powder coating method?

Powder coating is a high quality finish used on thousands of products you come into contact with every day. Powder coating protects rough and smooth products and household items that you use every day. It provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer and is an attractive finish. Powder coated products are more resistant to impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet rays and other extreme weather conditions. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, cracks, corrosion, fading and other wear and tear problems.

POWDER COATING, WHAT IS IT?

Sometimes powder coating is called dry coating. It is a process of painting with dry powder paint that is given a negative electrostatic charge (10,000-110,000 volts). Wet paint requires a solvent, while powder coating does not. In this way, a harder surface layer is created, which better protects the object's surface from the effects of the environment. The most commonly painted materials are steel, ceramics, aluminum, glass, wood and many others.
